Located a short drive from Melbourne, in the south-eastern suburbs, Cardinia Reservoir is one of the largest reservoirs that provide water to Melbourne.
This is a nice place to visit, with some good views of the reservoir and the surrounding areas, as part of another trip, as there really isn’t enough here to justify a visit just for it. Unless you happen to live quite close by.
Would definitely recommend visiting either early in the morning or towards the afternoon or early evening as the golden light at these times would definitely make the views look better.
